The Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE) wishes to inform the members of the institution of Group Insurance Welfare Scheme by NSChE Council in its meeting of 17th April 2010. The Insurance Scheme shall commence from 1st of July 2010. Each Fellow or Member is expected to pay N7,000 annually as Insurance premium through NSChE as part of annual membership fees to join the Scheme and be entitled to the benefits from the Insurance Company. The policy benefits which are based on death or accidents of any form include:
Group Life N500,000
Permanent disability N1,000,000
Medical N200,000

The premium is at a discount to NSChE members because it is handled as a group package.
Once remittance is effected by interested member into NSChE account in UBA (A/C No 01720310000253), NSChE Secretariat should be informed of the details (deposit slip Number and date of payment) via email or by visiting the secretariat, so member’s name would be enrolled in the Scheme.
